Since I terminated my Heirloom Cherry plant I decided to give this plant its own post. All is well here. The plant has already outgrown the Heirloom Cherry plant and continues to spread.

Educate me...if that just one plant? Yes it is. Just one pod planted in that unit. It drinks a lot of water and obviously likes to spread.

I’ve obviously got some leaves that need pruning, but the Golden Toms are rolling in right now. Once they’re all ripe this unit will get cleared out to help with another project I’ll be starting soon.

Hi Nick, Just got my farm, how many cherry tome can I plant per 12 pod box? and what going on with the brown leaves in your last photo, look like great harvest how long do you have toms for? I wouldn’t plant more than two per side. I’ve only done one tomato plant per side so far. Clearly they will spread to fill the space. I’m not yet sure what’s going on with the brown leaves on my plants. Both tomato plants did that. I’m going to switch up my nutes for my next tomato plant and see what happens then.

These are so pretty when they’re ripe. Sweet Heats are a nice contrast too.

I thought this plant would likely be done soon based on the response from my other tomato plant when I removed browning leaves. This one has other ideas and has had a sudden flurry of new growth. It continues to produce new tomatoes and I continue to eat them. Usually sliced alongside bacon and eggs in the mornings. I think that have a nice citrus-y acidity that’s lovely with breakfast.

It’s clearly a happy plant, despite its bit of yellowing leaves, and responded well to your removing those. I love how you are enjoying these with your eggs and bacon - that sounds so good. A perfect contrast.

Looks great, nick. And what luck that they are having a renewed second life Is the AG Golden pod? Or a custom?

This plant has decided it is far from done. The growth really picked up after the last feeding.

That golden harvest is looking great. It's so strange that AG is now including 12 pods in the kit for the farms when obviously a single plant will fill the whole space. They said they've done their research... but i'm still hesitant about filling all 12 spots with golden harvest plants. This is the insert that came with my 12 pod kit. It makes no sense to me.

I agree. I don't know how it would be possible to drain the Farm if it was completely full of tomato plants, much the less how well they'd all grow crammed in there.

This plant is still doing its thing. It has surprised me greatly that it’s still doing so well. After this next round of tomatoes is over I’ll move this plant along to make way for a new project.

It’s just about time for a second harvest from this plant. After that it’ll be taken down to make room for some of the peppers I’ve started in my other post. Still feeding this one with GH nutes in a 1:2:3 ratio. Mooch in the week between regular feedings.
