Your projects look good, but very soon you may want to consider separation. Lettuce grows on almost no nutrients at all and toms require a lot. The lettuce looks a bit like they are receiving a little too strong a measure of nutrients as seen on some of the edges of the reds. I only add 2 mlg to a gallon of nutrients for lettuce..but then again, I do not own a farm.Toms require 4 to way more later on. FWIW
Good idea. My original thought was to put the tomatoes in row 1 and 4 of each side of the farm to give them room without crowding them and the lettuce in rows 2 and 3. I haven't added any nutrients since I first started on 01/20/19 and that was 16 mL per the instructions at startup and and then again at second feeding. Then its 24 mL every two weeks after thereafter. I guess I can put all the lettuce on one side and tomatoes on the other tomorrow. Then do 16mL for the tomatoes and 12 mL for lettuce. I had originally planned to drain my farm tomorrow but just reading the instructions it says do rinse and refill once a month.

Do yo' thang,fizz..I am not a farm person, as I said. The toms and lettuce have plenty of room. It was the nutrients I was concerned about. But, as I said..I am not a Farm owner, so will shut up.

I promise you know way more about this than I do. I noticed the edges of some of them and read it was from over feeding but thought it was weird that I followed the directions and they did that. I even used distilled water in the farm.
At some point today, I'm going to re-arrange the plants and put all tomatoes on the left and lettuce on the right. See what that does.

I have found that lettuce does not need the full amount of nutrients

02/03/19 - Day 15 I put all the lettuce on the right side and tomatoes in the left side. Added 8 mL in the right side and 12 mL in the left side. I also changed up the pump cycle. I had it on for 60 minutes off for 660 minutes. It is now on for 60 minutes off for 120 minutes. Maybe that will help with the nutrients. Feed back is appreciated. Right side Left side

The nutes have burned my lettuce too at times, so I just feed them fewer nutes now. Not sure why they don’t warn of this - maybe they don’t want it to sound too complicated or to confuse people. Your gardens look great though!

02/06/19 - Day 18 Right side Left side I guess this weekend I need to read up on how to trim or separate out all the pods that have multiple tomatoes in it. Some have all four growing.

Cut all but one plant per pod keeping the healthiest ones.

That will make a nice salad!
As for all your cuttings, are you going to try and root them and just throw them away?

I tossed them. I already feel like I have too much growing now.

That can happen when you first start. You will find your rhythm.

Too much and not enough space should I say.
