Last night there was a squirrel eyeing up the plant. Mark shooed it away. This morning the plant is looking extremely healthy. I am so glad. This will be my FIRST ever real transplant.
While I have transplanted flowers and one pepper plant last year. Those were both nearing the end when I placed outside. These on the other hand were started in the AG for outdoor pot in early stage when no fruits produced YET. Tons of flowers waiting for reapers to form.

I hope the squirrels eye it when the peppers are on it! LOL. I bought a garden center plant and the next day a squirrel had the entire plant out of the hole snd sitting on top of the surface with the hole empty. They are such a pain. My garden guy said to gently mix cayenne pepper on the top when I plant, but I have to water so often in the heat (86 yesterday) it just washes away. The Squirrels rule!

I told Mark about your squirrels. And then he remember the one that was abusing my flower pots last year. Hopefully these being SO hot will deter them. One can hope right?

a few years ago I had 1 pot of HOT banana peppers on the porch rail boxes to deter the squirrels from the other rail boxes..they bit into 1, dropped it and I never saw another trace of them in those porch boxes.

I am thrilled to report that this plant is flourishing outside. AND, I have my first Carolina Reaper.
Oh and those are not bugs on the plant either

IF Mark decides to taste these then I will. Otherwise I will ask that he tape his guys trying them. That is who I am growing them for. Hopefully the guys in the office will oblige. But they need to ripen first

Spoke to Mark and he is going to video the guys when they taste them. Should be interesting watching grown men try not to cry and eat them whole LOL.
I have two peppers waiting to turn red and I found at least 4 more tiny ones.

The first reaper picked. Now who will be the recipient These were grown for the guys at Marks work. I told Mark he had better video whoever eats these. There is one guy from Jamaica. He said growing up there he can handle any heat. Then there is the loud mouth jerk who thinks he can do everything. I vote for the jerk. But I will have to see what Mark takes. And he BETTER take the video. LOL

Well I have a video of someone who works for Mark. He is very used to hot foods. At first he says it has no flavor but then say how good it is... and hot. Not seen in the video but I was told about 15 mins after, he gulped down 4 20oz bottles of water, eyes got red and was sweating! I have no clue what happened after
The next one will be for someone else Video is here
