This morning I did some clean up. I dead headed flowers. Moved flowers around only after I gave the roots a massive haircut. Now the Happy Days are getting their fair share of light and space. The Queen Sophia has the corner and the Blondes had their old leaves removed and space for all their buds. Here is the new layout and a current picture (excuse the coloring, my flash went off)

The first Happy Days about to open These plants have a ton of buds on them. The Queen Sophia seems to be the tallest of them all and the Strawberry Blondes tent to take a long time to bloom

I will be ending this project today. Not because it does not look nice or can't keep going but because the Queen Sophia is so tall it is growing over the hood or buds are touching the lights. Also the one Strawberry Blonde (front right) while has buds it is not blooming and when I touch it leaves just fall off so that one kinda mummified and is wasting space. The left Strawberry Blondes is doing well as is the Happy Days. THOUGHTS:- I highly recommend the Happy Days. These are vibrant and pretty and short.
- Strawberry Blondes fix nicely in the Harvest and grow well. I was not pleased with the dull colors however. Looked better in pictures.
- Queen Sophias are not good for the Harvest however are pretty.
Note: Actually what I MIGHT do is plant the two good ones in a pot I had the Tomatoes in since there is mix in there. Here thy are before terminating. I had already removed the buds touching light and tall ones. Happy Days: Blondes

The Happy Days are my favorite. But the whole project was bright and cheery and a joy to watch!

I love the Happy Days too!
One year I planted some marigolds and it looked like they were dead in the ground. ..the flowers were all dried out. I was too lazy to uproot the plants and just left them in there. They dropped the seeds on the soil and ...guess what? More plants started and I got a whole bunch of marigolds flowering even better than the first bunch I planted! My Mother used to save all her Marigold seeds and we were SURROUNDED by orange yellow and red all summer and fall. I don;t think she ever cared for any other flower.
Shawn's project brings back memories today(nearing Mother's Day). I love to plant Whopper Marigolds from Park. The heads are colossal!

I am glad I was able to bring back some Happy memories.
I planted them in a 8" pot outside for now. Hopefully they will make it. I need to get a picture. But in the meantime I am soaking my machine and hopefully will have another flower project started tomorrow. To bad we do not have a new flower GAL or I would do it for that.
Now I just need to go thru my flowers to see what I have and IF I have any to plant in a Harvest

Shawn, thank you for asking my opinion, but until I have a few flower successes under my belt, I will defer to Corinne. I am still stinging over my bedding petunias and wild dahlias!
However, if you would like to try my lovely dianthus seeds pictured below, let me know. I have 25. I could send you 12.
