I'm afraid I will have to shut this down. All the major car companies are shutting down operations in the US due to the Coronavirus. That means I will be laid off very soon. God help this country if this drags on.

Well, I am officially laid off. It's been 18 years since the last time. Too bad, the petunias are starting to look gorgeous. I bet there are 8-10 blooms that will open this weekend. I added as much water as I could. I added nutes three days ago. Now I pray I get called back in time to save this garden.  |

At this point, I don't want to. It is currently a two week layoff. As long as they don't extend it, the garden should be OK. Plus, there will be a handful of people there. I'm checking to see if I can come in to tend the garden some time each week. I'm hoping to add water, nutes and take pictures during those visits.
Last night I had the joy of filing for unemployment. Jeez, almost like doing your taxes. But it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it was all on line.

Well, that's it. I got the phone call today that we will be shut down an additional two weeks. This garden was doing so well. I asked my boss to unplug the AG. Trying to get it home with my mobility issues is too much.
On the positive side, I will be paid for the additional two weeks off. When I return to work, I will start new seeds there. What, I don't know. But something new is on the horizon.
Stay safe, folks. I think they are going a bit overboard with this virus. But since everything is shut down, let's get rid of this thing.

I will be starting the Farm Plus before I go back to work. It will have herbs on one side and bok choi on the other.
