I don't remember when I started these. I planted 4 of them in the seed starter, planning to move the best 3 of them to a pot.
But all 4 pods germinated, and one pod had two babies. So I soaked a sponge, cut a slit from the hole down to the bottom of it, and insert the tiny baby. In spite of a rough start, it lived.
Since 5 were too many for my pot, I put them in the Harvest instead.

I discovered two tiny geraniums growing in the pod in the left rear of the Harvest. I decided to try to save the duplicate since I had one empty hole. This is the pod with the two babies. I removed the pod from the Aerogarden, and pushed the sponge up so I could see the two stems. Carefully and slowly I pulled one of the plants straight up until it was free of the sponge. You can see a decent piece of the root remained. I then slit a soaking wet sponge from the hole to the base, opened it up, and laid the little seedling in the split.
Finally, I put the sponge in a basket and inserted it into the empty hole in the Harvest.
The right rear plant is one that I split off of a duplicate, and it is well established. It had a much smaller root nub than the new transplant.
So I'm hoping I end up with 6 geraniums out of the 4 pods I planted.

I moved the baby to the left rear so it could get more light. I LOVE those leaves!

Look!
I have not grown these before and was stunned by the growth spurt after adding nutrients yesterday. And buds! On these tiny things!

These haven't changed much since my last picture, so I decided to just show you how pretty they look next to my petunias.

Zyphax, I got them from Park Seeds. I bought the very last pack they had in stock. Sorry!

This is so weird. I don't like the way these flowers are growing in the Aerogarden. They actually irritate me.
I am planning to repot them. I'll keep one in my window, and harden the others to transplant outdoors.
