I finally have a baby Golden Greek! This is almost a month old, but it’s alive and looks healthy.

It takes SO LONG for a pepper to germinate sometimes! One reason to have a few other projects going at the same time I find.

Your note shows a date of 10/21 Mary. You sure you planted it 10/9? If it is 10/21 then it only took two weeks instead of a month

Yes, I had planted a 2nd seed on the 21st just in case! Shortly after that I had germination which would’ve been too soon for it to be the 2nd seed. So, I might have another wee seedling soon if it takes. I put a 2nd seed in the Snubnose pod on the 21st, too. Still waiting to see what happens there. If I’m successful with the Snubnose I will put both of these in a big garden together.

My Sheepnose sprouted!!! 3rd time was a charm!! So I’m adding the name to the title of this thread, and at some point will put these 2 in a bigger garden. As an aside, y’all, I’m cracking myself up because I just realized I referred to this pepper above as a Snubnose instead of a Sheepnose. Isn’t that the name of a type of gun?? Lol.

In the foreground are my Golden Greek and Sheepnose peppers. It’s time to get them their own machine(s). I’m not sure where to put them yet. I have 2 Harvests available, which will probably be too short, and 1 tall machine.

I broke them out into their own Harvest. If I need to put in a taller machine later I will try, though the roots of the bigger one were super thick. Shawn, do you think either of these can stay in a short machine? I did not top either of them. Twin machines

If you keep it trimmed it can but mine was about 16" for the Greek. The Sheeps I will measure but those I think will be ok. I will let you know for sure later.

After taking this pic I snipped off a number of the biggest leaves. More light, plus I think it’ll pollinate easier without the big floppy leaves in the way.
