I snipped off the pale leaves recently and they look normal, now. I wish I knew what caused the lack of chlorophyll in the first sets of leaves.

Looking much healthier than either of my prior attempts to grow these.

These are kicking into a nice growth spurt. A friend of mine grew these a couple years ago. They were delicious, and incredibly hot. I kept thinking how these would be tremendous in salsa or on my version of Mexican Pizza. I would love to use these and the Bulgarian Carrots and some Tomatillos in a spicy salsa for the Michigan-Ohio State game this year. However, I feel the carrots will be the only ones ready. It's my turn to host the watch party, this year. P-)

I hate to say it, but these are dying. Everything is turning yellow. I'll probably take it down this weekend.

This variety has long been kryptonite for me. Right now, mine seems to be thriving and just had its second "hood raising", and so far, knock wood, is looking healthy, but it's maybe my fifth try.

I wish you good luck, Dawn. I just added 12 ml nutes and 5 ml Mooch. I don't think it will help, but I will try. I will prune the yellow out, tomorrow.

Sorry to hear. We put so much time into a project and while it is fun to try something new it is disappointing when they do not work.

These plants still don't look good. But Monday, I noticed a nub of a pepper. Now there are at least 16. The original pepper is now 1-1/2" long. Tonight they are due for Mooch.

Well look at that! Isn’t it funny how just when you’re ready to give up on a plant it suddenly surprises you by entering a new stage of growth. You’ve got fruit on the way now, you can’t scrap the project now, ugly or not, lol.

No, it keeps on. They are due nutes, tonight. There are a good 20 peppers I can see. At least two are 2" long. I will prune off more of the yellow, tonight as well.

To think I was ready to pull these plants. They were turning yellow, even the stems. I went fro 10ml nutes to 11ml. I increased the frequency of Mr. Mooch from every week to every 4 days for two weeks. These plants have so many peppers now it's not funny. The only negative, the plants on the garden span at least 3 feet wide.

I'm finally getting some blossoms on mine, but nothing like that. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
