Wow! That is impressive! It must be like looking into the sun! I used to have two Ultras and a Bounty in the same corner and it was...bright haha.

Yes the 500 watts of LED lighting in this room is at the end of a hallway on the opposite diagonal corner of the house from the master bedroom and it still casts a glow through the whole (open floor-plan) house into our bedroom from 6am to 11pm. On the bright side ... if the short days of winter start to get me down I just go tend the garden after sunset and it picks me right up.

What a nice set up you have. I need more rooms so I can have a place just to keep all of mine.

When the days are short and dark, it can be nice to have the brightness. Although in my old apartment, it had a way of making everywhere else feel darker/in shadow and that corner like a giant headlight. I did not mind except when it reflected on the TV at night. Now I have them in the basement, so makes it much brighter and lively.

Shawn, there are nine Bountys, two Harvest 360s, a handful of Kratky planters and five AeroVoirs pretty much contained in the footprint of one 2ft by 4ft table. The Harvest off to the side and 6 AeroVoirs along the back wall aren’t included in this count. The table does need to be perpendicular to the wall or the Bountys can’t be back-to-back. I initially had the table lengthwise against the wall with the Bountys all facing the same direction but access to the rear gardens became increasingly difficult as the front gardens grew taller, especially for the units on the floor. As I said earlier in this thread, two Farm 24 Plus units should fit back-to-back under this sized table if the legs are at least 34.5 inches long. Being 14 inches deep for a total of 28 inches, the Farms would stick out a few inches from the 24 inch wide table which would probably be just right for accessing the control panel on top of the Farms. The table was bought at Ikea many years ago and the legs are from Amazon. I mounted the legs right at the edges of the table-top corners to maximize the space between the legs.

I want a basement like clumsythumbs has, where I could install DIY custom hydroponics systems near the floor drains and not live in fear of overflowing water should something go wrong, but I cannot have one in central Florida because the ground-water table is too high.

We have harvested over 40 tomatoes from two Bountys of tomatoes during the past two weeks and they keep giving us fresh ones. They are all sweet, juicy, tender and thin-skinned. We are absolutely loving this!
