Took a while, but finally got some color changes this week!
Sweet Purple Oda Pepper
110 days (or 3 months, 20 days)
Don't mind tomato. I've been overdue to prune her.

What a gorgeous color! I think that's the first time I have seen it in a pepper.

Not much else to report with regards to this GAL. I've harvested most of my pepper plants, some of which were started around the same time as this GAL:
Depicted above:
- Purple Oda Peppers (sweet) -- these are the purple ones
- Cayenne Peppers (mild) -- the long greenish ones
- Mini red bell peppers (sweet) -- the small red ones (very seedy)
- AG 'Fajita' peppers (sweet) -- the bigger green and red bell peppers
- AG 'Red Fire Chili' peppers (hot) -- the red thai pepper in the middle
Hidden beneath: Jalapeño peppers (hot), Red cherry sweet peppers (sweet).
So overall, lots of successes and for this GAL, the Purple Oda Peppers were definitely a success. I have a second plant growing in soil that I recently transplanted outside. Hopefully that one does just as well!
As for the Giant Red Bell Pepper, the peppers did eventually transition to an orange color and started turning red, but I picked them. They weren't notable in any way and I would consider the experiment a fail, as the plant just grew poorly / had problems from the start. Thankfully whatever the issue was never affected the Oda Pepper plant in the same unit.

What a nice harvest! And the purple Odas win the beauty contest by a mile! Lots of exciting choices!
When I grew mini bell peppers a long time ago, they were very seedy, too.

Yeah I would definitely redo the Oda Peppers in the future given their colour really stands out! As for the mini bells, it's kind of unfortunate with the seeds because it's just more work for little gain. I also had problems with intumescence (edema) on the three separate occasions I've tried growing them indoors. Not sure if others have that issue with them.

I don't recall having a problem with edema, but then I pruned mercilessly to make sure plenty of light and air made it through the canopy. Thay may or may not have helped.
I had planned to stuff my mini bells, but by the time I finished fighting the huge seed ball, my enthusiasm had waned a bit.
