The peppers in one Harvest grew so tall that they were smashed against the lights, which completely blocked off light from the rest of the plant.
So I did a 4 inch haircut across the top. That removed lots of blooms and a few green peppers.
Am hoping it pays off with lots of new blooms and fruit.

No. I had it wrong. These are the Sweet Heats. And one is ripe and one is almost ripe.

I picked the ripe pepper today.
I decided that instead of waiting for them all to ripen at once, I will pick them as they ripen. That should produce more peppers, give me an extended harvest and provide a steady supple of peppers to slice for salads and use in cooking.
I hope.

I tasted he first pepper I had picked. It was FIERY!!!
Since neither Ron nor I like hot peppers, I will try another one or two. If they are all hat hot, that bush is comost!
