My wish is for all the AGs to be app-enabled. I love being able to do the extra things you can do with the app, like check days planted and change the light schedule. I'm with you, although I can see it being a price-point thing too. I use the app to raise and lower the lights and to start up new gardens too. I just find it easier to navigate, since I use the app more often, I guess? When we do R&R's, first thing I grab is the phone!

Thanks for the links, and glad that the sponges are comparable since I have 50 of them!

I simply wish that the Harvest models would have a longer extension. I think the light is powerful enough for another 6-8 inches, at least.
They actually have a Harvest XL now. 24" hood height.

judib I actually get the Park Seed 60-Cell Biosponges. I get 120 for $21 and change OR 60 for $11. I only use these and think they are a good deal. However the sponges are a personal preference. Urban Leaf has ones comparable to AG. These can be found on Amazon as well but I do not have a link

Is it 24" from the top to bottom of the unit, or 24" from the top of the unit to the top of the basin/reservoir? (aka can I grow a plant that is 23" tall in it?) I've been contemplating buying one but I haven't heard much about them.

judib, apologies for posting a link to peel-and-stick pod covers that are currently unavailable. Doesn’t pay to be in a hurry! There is at least one other Amazon seller of this type of label, but I haven’t personally tried them.

I misspoke... it is 18" from the deck this is from their site:

I just want to let you know that they arrive damp. This is not an issue. I keep mine in the bag they come in and then place it in a box. They eventually do dry out, also not an issue. I have never had them mildew or anything. I thought I would let oyu know in advance

One very minor feature that I've seen on some AeroGarden knockoffs that I think would be nice to see on an official AeroGarden is a rubber stopper on the bottom of the basin - that makes it very easy to drain it for a R&R without needing to take the plant out or disturb the roots.

Larger pod holes for thick stemmed vegetables like broccoli. Or an interchangable grow deck that can accommodate head vegetables like cabbage.

This is for the AeroVoir, wish it had a top cap on the reservoir, so I could fill it in place instead of having to remove the water tank from the bottom to fill...

I just use the app. It was so easy to set it up. However I can't figure out how to turn a unit off on the app - it refuses to work.

I wish there was a reminder for R&R's. Somehow, I marked the lettuce garden as needing an R&R & Mikey helped with it. Then, when I went to mark it fed, I noticed it was only 34 days growing...not 28 or 56, when I normally do them...guess we just did it...things start to blurrrrrrr..... Shhhhh! Don't tell Mikey.

Wishing for a "tool kit" of sorts. Something that would help with maintenance and dismantling the decks for cleaning. Hopefully, something in the 20-buck range, would be nice.

I’d like some kind of add-on kit that let me connect all the offline machines to my wifi. I like being able to check up on them when I’m away from home and would love a way to view all my machines instead of just 3 of them.

Hmmm...do you mean something to add to non-wifi AGs to bring them online too? That does sound very interesting. That's one of my hold-backs for the Harvest AGs. I love their versatility, but wish I could monitor them via my phone.

Yes! A plug-and-play add-on, ideally, because I don’t particularly enjoy programming. But I’d be willing if it brought my non-Wi-Fi machines online! Might have to fiddle with a pi and some sensors to see if I can do it myself, when I get the time and motivation

wish it had a PH and PPM meter (built in of course), that way i wouldn't have to keep pulling out all my tools.
