I am just sick about your lens. Hope they can fix it.
But the flowers are just glorious!

Oh No Mike. I can only imagine how you feel. I hope you can get it fixed or replaced.
The flower pictures are gorgeous.

The photos are great and the flowers are beautiful. You have an eye for capturing their beauty.
I'll keep good thoughts that the lens will be as good as new, very soon!

Thanks Folks. I dropped off the lens at the camera shop today. It'll be a month before I find out whether they can fix it. Another month to do the repairs. So much for that 6-year "limited" warranty. No warranty includes customer drops. Oh well.
Wait until you see some of the shots I took Sunday.

I love the white, shy false Somon's seals. Is that what they are, mike? The regular Solomon's seals have two flowers at each junction. I have only found one in the 21 years we have lived here.

Sher, the only white flowers here are Bleeding Hearts. Aren't Solomon's Seal White Bells?

Beautiful, mike . You taught me something new. I guess I got confused by the similar arching growth patter, Here is a photo of Solomon's seal I took in 2011, and a false solomons seal in 2019. Neither of their flowers had opened yet.

Some of my faves from this weekend: The Lavender Rhododendrons are opening. I'd never seen a Yellow Peony before. Champagne Elegance Iris And this is called Yarai Pseudata "Night Thunder". It is a cross with a Japanese Iris.

Again, you've outdone yourself! Very beautiful! I need to get out and photograph some of the flowers around here. We have Rhodies galore, right about now. Lots of Iris and Peonies too. But the drizzle discourages too much outdoor activity! Sigh. I need to find a hat & do it anyway! If you wait for a clear day in the PNW, you'll do a lot of waiting!

We are experiencing drought. A lot of sprinklers running. We are over 6 inches short of where we should be, rain wise. And it has rained some.
