3 are up and one is showing the little white loop that will become a sprout.

Six are up now. One is a double. And one has done nothing because the seed is upside down. I'll try to fix it tonight.

I gave the zinnias 3 ml AG nutes today to support the larger plants until the smaller plants get a little bigger.

All are up, except 3.
I am not worried about whether the others will sprout. These will spread out and fill in the gaps.

The three in the back never came up. I removed two more small ones that were being shaded out and dying.
So I hope the remaining 4 will put on a nice display.

The two center plants were starting to get tipburn on the tiny top leaves. I pinched some of it off, raised the lights, misted them, and gave them a little calmag.

I hope they don't grow through the roof! You didn't trade a cow for them, or something?

As a matter of fact, I did. Do you suppose they are magic beans!

These continue to grow. It looks like the extra CalMag took care of the tipburn.

There are flowers on the way in the two center plants. The plants on the outside are smaller and stretching for light.

Once again, I am disappointed in the Bounty Basic. The 30 watt light simply isn't strong enough for tall flowers. The flowers were supposed to top out at 18-20".
Note the stretched stems and the flowers smashed into the light.
I plan to cut the plants way back, lower the lights, and hope they will flower on the lower stems.

It may not be the Bounty or wattage. Some flowers will get taller hydroponically. I always look for flowers that are shorter or at the recommend thread. What I have learned over the years is that a lot of it is trial and error. Also while some flowers say they only grow x amount of inches they do not take into account the tall stems of the flowers, Thumbalinas are one example. The stems grow 12-14" but then after that last upper leaf they only grow 4-6" Very misleading, hence trial and error. I look at pictures online now to see how they actually grow,.
