I planted Yummy Sweet Peppers from Burpee on the left side of Farm Plus #2. Cooks Garden Favorite. These bright orange mini-bells are as sweet as apples. Loads of elongated, 3 inch fruit mature quickly on upright plants, providing plenty for eating out of hand and more for quick salads and stuffed appetizers. Our pick for sweet, full flavor and crisp, juicy texture. They also make delicious pickled peppers. I added 16 ml Nutes. www.burpee.com/pepper-sweet-yummy-prod099721.html

One of these is definitely showing signs of germination. Two of the pods look like the seeds have moved meaning the lower seed may be germinating.

I thinned these down to one plant per pod today. I kept all four plants, for now. That will be reduced to two or three in two weeks or so. I also moved the plants to the outside left, right, front and back for spacing. The front will probably be removed. I may combine extras on Bounties.

I tossed the smallest of these, today. It's too bad, it was very healthy. But I don't have room. The way these are coming in, I may have to toss the center one as well if they crowd each other too much. These are supposed to be bright orange jalapeno shaped and sized peppers that are completely sweet. I am looking forward to snacking on these and using them for salads. Stuffing them sounds good, too. Pineapple and cream cheese, maybe?

Or Cottage Cheese that comes with pineapple already mixed in? If you can find it at your market.

I would just dice up the peppers with cottage cheese.

I would just dice up the peppers with cottage cheese. That sounds good too. I think cottage cheese gets a bum rap sometimes? I use it in a lot of places instead of cream cheese or ricotta. It works!

Most of the time I just put pepper and hot sauce in it.

I snippped out 3 or 4 of the larger leaves per plant here. They certainly aren't necessary. Look how stout the bases are already.

You can hardly tell I removed four leaves from each plant. And look how thick they are. Added 24 ml Nutes, 20 ml Mooch.

I would not have expected that since thry are small peppers. Maybe thry are plumping up to support massive crop loads!
