He did enjoy it. Although after these I don't know if I would grow again any time soon as they are slow and for me did not produce many. I still have several changing colors and a few new flowers but not nearly as many fruits as the jalapeno next to it. There are ALOT of them

I agree that the pace of these has been disappointing.

My dad had oral cancer. He is my best friend. I am truly thankful he made it through the cancer. If anything is good from it, he now tolerates onions. He would never allow an onion to be in the same room, before. I think he can't taste them anymore.

Its been a while, too. Maybe 10 years. He gave up smoking and is doing quite well. I do wish he would not take on all the challenges he does.

Can it survive that way?
I mean the leaves are the solar cells of a plant. Energy goes in there.

OMG, I went hair cut crazy on the Carrot LOL.... It looks bald That reminds me of the story of the OCD woman who, in one sitting, kept tweezing her eyebrows, obsessing that they weren't perfectly, OCD-level even, so she would tweeze more, and eventually she had next to no eyebrows left. Hah.
I've gone trim crazy on some gardens, too. There's something oddly satisfying about it. Hopefully it won't be harmed.

Mark took a Carrot ro work for one of his guys who wanted to taste it. Mark told him it was HOT. The guy said he can handle anything. He took a nibble out of the very tip of the pepper and said that is nothing. He excused himself to "do work" but came back 10 minutes later sweating and had two bottles of water with him. I guess the Carrot beat him and not the other way around.

Believe me, the carrot's no joke. It is not as hot as a habanero. But it is not far off.
This weekend I am going to break in my new stovetop smoker. A friend from work gave me a quart size bag of jalapenos and Hungarian peppers. They weren't hot enough for him. To be fair, the Hungarian's were as hot as I expected. The jalapenos are seriously tame, heat wise. I will use these and some carrots to smoke this weekend.
I wanted to smoke some tonight, but it takes too long.

As you can see the Carrots has a severe hair cut and is quite bald at the moment. But there are peppers on it still and they are turning. I am unsure how I will use these when all are ripe yet.

I like it like that. It looks so tidy! Mature plants can get so messy.

I have a tendency to be heavy handed on removing leaves
