I always wanted a house out in the country with a lot of land so that I could grow a massive garden. However, I do not think I would have the patience to compete with deer, rabbits, squirrels, etc...

My neighbors have raised garden beds and then chicken wire rooms around them. I should take a picture sometime, it is a very nice set up. They use that corrugated metal to build the beds. They seem to do well. |

To be able to grow my own. But I do not have the green thumb for that. Also the deer and rabbits would eat it up. I think you underestimate yourself. I don't believe wild life would bother them, squirrels do not dig them up and Garlic is one of the thing that is Deer resistant. Find a sunny spot and stuff some glove in (2" down) at the proper time of year.. What do you have to loose? One bulb of garlic and 10 minutes of time..  |

airscapes, I also have a pup here that I need to take into consideration. This one is a devil and I would not trust growing garlic.
