Really beautiful. I was just reading that they'll keep producing flowers for a year or better. That's pretty amazing. I think I might get a second sprout just for flowers. You guys have such lovely ones, and there's nothing like living flowers. I'm not big on cut flowers. I've always told my husband that rather than wasting money buying dead cut flowers, get me live seeds/plants/trees I can grow. I agree about the cut flowers, Kate. They’re beautiful for about 2 days, and then I have to change stinky water and later have to worry about removing scale from my pretty vases. Btw I’d be happy to send you (and everyone else) a Love Blooms pod - I accidentally requested 2 boxes when selecting the free kits with the new machines. I will never get through them all! Here it is is about a week or so ago   That's so sweet! I'd love to get some, but unless I get another AG or three, I have a ton of projects I want to start and not enough machines to do them. |

Can you do a rinse and refill for it to come back? Maybe it will resuscitate itself? May I ask why you added HP?

Can you do a rinse and refill for it to come back? Maybe it will resuscitate itself? May I ask why you added HP? I did a Rinse and Refill a day or 2 later. At first I had thought that it was just a little shock from removing dead stuff, until it got worse and I remembered I added the hydrogen peroxide. I added it because there was a lot of discussion on the old forum about how a little bit helps prevent algae and or mold in the basin and around the basket/sponge/roots, and doesn’t hurt the plants if done correctly, but I was sloppy and failed to re-research appropriate amounts. I didn’t even measure. Dumb. |
