They still look good and I am sure the green one will be fine. You can eat them green even tho we love them red

I gave one to a coworker. She said "This is going to make me cry, isn't it?"
Yes, but in a good way.
She told me that she was cutting up one from the previous crop the other day, and it maced her.

Haven't actually eaten any yet, but I was just slicing a few up to be put in the pickled pepper jar, and they smelled fabulous.

This hot weather has destroyed my appetite. That and that these are the office Jalapenos that don't really offer me the opportunity to do any cooking. Believe it or not, I'm not into eating Jalapenos raw. So, the office jalapenos get sliced up into the pickled pepper jar and consumed on Wednesday mornings as garnish for the group breakfast sandwiches.

I can understand that. I like cooking htem as well. Mark will eat them raw any time any day. Thankfully I am able to harvest some sweets every week so he can take a few in his lunch. Now only if my fresnos get red (they are starting again)

I've been at my desk today for two hours now before I looked up at the Jalapeno plant:

Today's harvest: I counted about 18. I gave about half of them to a coworker and cut up the rest for the pickled pepper jar. Not THAT hot, but still entertaining enough to tell me all the points where my gums are bleeding. VERY sweet.

That is some haul and looks so good. I want to reach out and grab one LOL (and would fry it up with onions)

Those are beautiful! It has been so long since I’ve had a successful jalapeño I hope mine turn out half as good as yours.

Just harvested another 13 from the plant this morning, leaving one last under-ripe pod still on the plant. So, I guess that'll total 32 peppers on this second round. Coworker took one of the fattest ones before I took this picture, and another one after:

Well, seeing as how it's the end of its second crop, I figure two full rounds of peppers in just over 6 months is pretty good.

This has been a great project. I’m glad you’re going for #3! I’m sure your coworkers are too.
