The Burpee Blazing Banana pepper (left) and Shishito pepper (right) have a lot of blooms, but are slow in setting fruit. I'm giving them small amounts of CalMag+ and Koolbloom--maybe I'll add a little more. Probably the room temperature has been a little high, as it gets to 78 degrees F. In the afternoons. My peppers all seem to do better if I don't prune except to improve air circulation. 🌶

After that huge pepper harvest, the Banana Pepper looked kind of forlorn. Lots of leaves came off with the branches that had been bearing peppers. Today I was changing the Banana pepper's water, and wouldn't you know: In the past, every time that I've harvested peppers from this plant, it comes right back with even more peppers! It's at Day 276--just over 9 months.

as long as they are producing good numbers of peppers. I usually get tired of them after six months.

The Burpee Blazing Banana and AG Shishito plants are finally producing peppers! They're still very small, but it's progress!

The Blazing Banana and Shishito peppers are doing well, now that the weather has cooled off and the room isn't at 80 degrees in the afternoons. At Day 76: I took out the AG Swiss Chard at Day 23, because it's large enough to use and I wanted the space for radish seedlings. The roots were all nice and healthy. This was growing in the same room as the peppers.

I always love how the roots match the stems for swiss chard.

Your peppers look great -- and that is some beautiful Swiss chard, lynnee!
I like to use young Swiss chard in salads, too.

Today I terminated this AG Mighty Mini Tomato (at right in photo), even though it had lots of ripening tomatoes on it. The little tomatoes are highly acidic. I don't like them at all, and tomato-lover Ray prefers AG Red Heirlooms (at left in the photo) or the marvelously sweet and juicy Veranda Reds that Sher recommended. Lots of people have given negative reviews to the Mighty Minis. It would be nice if AG could find a tastier dwarf tomato for the Sprouts and Harvests.

lynnee, the heirlooms root very easily if you would like to propagate a couple of cuttings to replace the Mighty Mini.

I hope the Shishitos turn red for you. I have not grown a lot of peppers, but my Sweet Heats did ripen after picking.
I bet your Blazing Bananas will perk up with the extra room and access to nutrients. It has some nice looking peppers on it.

I hope they turn red for you but whenever I had them on the counter they only softened
However I love the harvest you had! What will you do with them all?

Pickle them, I suppose. Yesterday I finally got a hot one, which was delicious! I might have kept the plant longer, if I'd known how good the green ones can be.
