Shawn , why don't we all do a faux poinsettia GAL for next Christmas?  I definitely want to grow one next year.

It would look festive even for those who don't celebrate Chrjstmas.

I like the plan too!  Maybe you can pick the optimum time to start that GAL with your experience from this garden?  Put it on a calendar or something, so we can focus on that date?

I am very please with this years growings.  Usually the White ones all have a pinkish tinge.  This year they are all mostly white with a very few tinged ones.  Pictures to follow later.

What is the name when you buy the seeds? I love growing these. They're very hardy outdoors, too, but get somewhat leggy.

Believe it or not, I once ran across a "polka dot" plant at a local nursery that was described as a "rare" plant, and priced accordingly. They wanted something like $16 for a 5-inch specimen!

I need to take a picture of my flowers.  They have really filled out and look nice and healthy.  I will take one later.  A friend called and asked if she can come over to teach me Mahjong.  She plays.. I never did.  My mother had a mahjong set when I was young but I only played with the tiles as bricks LOL..

Well she came, taught me and I caught on quick and asked if I can be a sub if needed,  I said sure..  I won 3 of 5 games

Now I need to get caught up on my housework and laundry

Hmmm...sounds like about 60 days to full & pretty then?  Maybe the GAL should start around 10/1?  But, maybe we need to see how long they go and have them even earlier?
