You asked for it, areyoukittenme ! It was turned with its face to the wall, so I turned it around. It may turn back, but it makes me really happy to look at it now.

This is the Eden Brothers Dwarf Petunias Mix (to 14" tall) that went outdoors into a pot some time ago. The Dianthus is from the November GAL. Who'd've expected that they'd still be blooming in May? I'm going to plant a Dianthus garden soon, to provide flowers for these flowerboxes. Dianthus loves the shade-and-full sun location!

I wish I had an outdoor spot to move my petunias to. I'm ready for something else in my living room.

There will be a collage of the sunflower "filling in" the center. This is where it is today.

Day 80 (6/7/22) Once the center filled in, the petals crumpled, but I still like it!

It's doing just what it's supposed to do, and I think that's beautiful!

Very cool. Are you going to keep any of the seeds

I hadn't even thought about keeping the seeds, because I have more in the seed packet. I will want to grow more of these, because they stop growing taller at 16", and display nicely in an AG. I have thought about eating the seeds. Do all varieties and hybrids of sunflowers produce edible seeds?

I have no clue about that one. These should grow nicely in the Harvest XL Just add another flower to my list of things to grow LOL

I would at least try them.

I got curious and Googled it lol - results all seemed to agree that there are no poisonous varieties of sunflower. Another interesting tidbit was that all parts of them are edible in addition to the seeds - the flower head, leaves, etc. And now I’m super curious about what they taste like!!
