Shawn, you might try harvesting some of the peppers. That would reduce some of the burden on the plants while they're regaining strength.

I would but they are green and we like them red. They taste too grassy now.

Peppers on both plants are starting to turn colors. Leaves are still soft wilted and limp. Once these ripen I will sanitize the unit and start something new. I am so disappointed. There are no insects so I have no clue what went wrong. I must do R&R's more often maybe?

R&Rs never hurt. But this is something else. I think you should harvest some, too.

Green peppers taste good when cut up, pickled in mason jars, and stored in the fridge.  One of my bell peppers died suddenly from root rot. I still don’t know what caused it. |

I pulled many from each plant and will see how the rest progress. I am not hopeful for a retun of the plants but I will say that these peppers are wonderful.
The Fresh Bites are sweet and very good with a thicker flesh and not many seeds.
The Jungle Parrot is also sweet with a small kick of heat. Also thicker flesh and not many seeds.
I would grow both again... (fresh bites on top, jungle parrot below)

Removed all the peppers, cleaned and sanitized.
Now I am going to figure out what peppers will replace them Stay Tuned!

The roots were brown but they also looked like all my other plants when I do not do my monthly r&r. No they never did perk up.
