Adrian, will you be potting the peppers in soil eventually?

If the peppers ever germinate, I will, though I gave up on them last night and pressed 3 spearmint seeds against the top of one sponge. I dropped 2 Micro Tom seeds into the other one. (Maybe I'll get a Frankentomper... Frankenpeppato?) The growing plant is now in the back with the new tomato seeds in the front pod.

One of my peppers took nearly a month to germinate. They’re stubborn that way.

I just started an AG Jalapeno kit in the harvest at work. Planted it the week before Christmas. Got back to the office today, and they'd JUST sprouted. Which, by my experience, is pretty fast for a hot pepper. C. Chinense and C. Baccatum can take forever to sprout, and C. Pubescens is just an exercise in frustration.
C. Annuum (which is what most peppers are) is startlingly fast by comparison at two weeks.

Day 15 - the second tomato pod has sprouted: The first one looks smaller than it is in this picture since I moved it to the back.

I have noticed in the Sprout that one side always grows faster then the other.

This is interesting... the pepper seed in the middle pod FINALLY woke up, and what I assumed was a tomato in the front pod now has a neighbor. Might be a second tomato, or it might be one of the pepper seeds I originally planted back on 12/19. Here they are at day 17:

Ooo you’re gonna have lots of tomatoes! (Btw I don’t know how I missed your prior post circling the first bud-sometimes posts just don’t show up. ).

I found a third cluster today, and the one that I circled in the picture from day 22 has just started to open!

Day 28 already. I LOVE how much easier it is to rinse and refill a Sprout. Already seeing 5 clusters of buds! The view from the front, back, and side: In 2 days, it will get its first dose of Mooch.

I forgot that I’m supposed to add mooch to the tomatoes in addition to peppers. Thanks for the reminder.
