I moved these to the left side of the Farm XL. It's a 3-3½ft plant anyway.
Changed water on the Farm and added 24 ml Nutes, 10 ml CALiMAGic, and 4 ml Koolbloom.

Disaster! I went to raise the lights this morning using the phone app. As soon as I hit the up arrow, there was a blue flash of light, and everything went dark on the Farm XL. I am certain a board fried. Today I will have to move the gardens to one of the Farm Plus'. I just completed 4 loads of laundry doing all bedding and some warmer clothes for Winter. It's less than an hour 'til football!

Does anyone know if AG will send out Farm boards? I can tell be the smell that it is a board.

It isn't the light panel, both went out. Or are you referring to circuitry in the main unit? I saw a blue arcing flash coming from the slats here on the underside of the hood when I tried to raise the light.

url=https://flic.kr/p/2nYNpaZ] i was thinking the light panel, but from what you just showed me it may be the circuit board that controls the whole light system. weird that went out the only thing i can think that would cause that is some moister got in there and just fried something.
i don't know if AG will send a new circuit board but i would think it wouldn't be that hard to replace.

Well, my Farm XL fried today. I had to move these gardens to an open Farm Plus. The right plant is showing leaf curl after sitting all day without power. The leaf curl was not there Thursday night. They are OK, otherwise. Changed the water in the move to make it lighter. I also did some serious undergrowth clearing. Added 24 ml Nutes, 10 ml CALiMAGic, 4 ml Koolbloom.  |

I'm not going to try to send it in for repair. So sorry to hear about the Farm XL disaster! Is there any chance that your Farm XL is still under warranty? AG sent me a new hood unit for my Farm 12XL when the electronics that controlled the pump failed. (The pump itself worked fine when I tested it in another AG.) From that experience, I think that you may be able to buy a replacement hood—unless they only keep them on hand for warranty claims. I rather doubt that AG will supply hood components. The Farm failure reports are scary, given how expensive the Farms are.  |

I've had it 3 years, so no warranty (despite it being my newest Farm). I have to re-evaluate what I'm going to do with these. I just don't know right now. My oldest Farm Plus I bought in February 2018.

Well this project has been a bust, so far. It started with the Farm XL frying. I moved them to a Farm Plus and I have 3 healthy looking plants. Lots of blooms and nothing. Ninety days old and nothing. Today I did my second R&R. I wonder if some of the nutes can get old. My KoolBloom has quite a few solids floating in the bottle. Last week I did an R&R on the Jalapenos. I have since seen a number of new peppers.
Keeping the fingers crossed.
Added 24 ml Nutes, 10 ml CALiMAGic, and 6 ml KoolBloom.
