In the last week I ordered two Farm Pluses. Then, I found out they were out of stock and won't ship until May. Then I found out my second order was for a Farm, not a Farm Plus. Then my credit card was charged three times for over $1,700 dollars. I had already transferred money to my credit card account to cover the two garden purchases. But this ticked me off. I'm not going to let AeroGarden keep my money for over two months while I pay interest on them. I cancelled the orders. If you see a sale on the Farm Pluses when they are in stock, please PM me.

Oh boy, I just cringed reading that. I completely get your frustration. Not so much the out of stock issue - that happens with a new product. But keeping your money for months?? No.

I did call yesterday for the heck of it to see, and they have White units in stock. The Black units are back ordered until May.

OK, I caved. Last day of the sale, as a matter of fact, I got it for $30 less. But I bought a white one. I asked for the Ghost Pepper kit and a Jalapeno kit in place of the supplied kits. No problem, 4-pods each.

Congrats, mike! Interesting their sales given the fact that just about everyone (including me) had the initial reaction of "not enough; too expensive." Even given that, there's just something compelling about it. Just hauled a nearly full 5 gal bucket of water and nutes over to mine and hauled away another bucket of waste when I did the dump & refill the other day. That's not so compelling. And why didn't they include 2 drain tubes? I mean, it's possible/probable that you'll want to do both sides as the same time.

I don't know what is available. But I am going to get with the folks in our lab at work. I want an adapter to connect to my kitchen sink. I want to connect a 25-foot hose, or tube to that. Then something like a garden hose nozzle that will only produce a stream of water when you press the handle. I think lab supply companies would be the place to start.

Good idea. Would you get a siphoning system to retract the water out as well?

I would love to, but I suspect that would be a bit more money than I am willing to spend. I think a separate siphon pump and a long hose is a better option there. I don't know. Perhaps I need to talk to a plumber.

Excellent idea.
I've also toyed with the idea of float valves

I've thought of that, too. It's fine in your toilet tank, but in an AG? I'm afraid it wouldn't shut off.

Mike, I do not know if this will help you in your search but I somehow got this catalog and instantly thought of you. Drip Works. It was filled with all kinds of connectors and tubing and other stuff.
