Well this garden was re-arranged some plants destroyed It is amazing, a month here and all of a sudden my kitchen garden herbs are looking a mes and not good. I took a closer look and cleaning fluid was sprayed all over them while cleaning the counter. DOES NO ONE KNOW HOW TO MOVE ANYTHING! I am fuming. So this morning I took all my 1/3 standing time (that cuts into my walking time I need as well. Oh well if the rain stays away I may push myself to walk 3 anyway. I will pay for it in pain later but I need to walk) to cut all the bad cilantro off and clean up the good. Had to totally remove the Greek basil as it was covered in black specks and holes. I cut all the bad leaves of Oregano off however was able to save that plant. The genovese and Napolitano leaves were cleaned and pruned out and the plants look ok. I love her but is it May 31st yet?

Here you are trying to get better and having to 'deal' . Frustration to say the least! (and people wonder why I live alone!)

Every day I ask myself if it is the 31st.
I will say with this weather it is not easy and flairups are huge.

I caught her last night with Lysol cleaning spray and yelled NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! She said what is wrong I am cleaning the countertops. I told her NEVER spray near my plants.

Another one bites the dust, this time a Cilantro. I just do not know which one. So I still have the Genovese, Napolatano and a Cilantro.

That’s like when I caught my Mom coughing by my herbs without covering her mouth. I was stunned. Especially as her consistent (and proper) admonishments to cover one’s mouth were ringing in my ears from all throughout my childhood. I was like, “Mom! I don’t wash my AG herbs!” That’s kind of one of the bennies of AG growing in my opinion! (Plus, washing after that probably wouldn’t have done any good. )

I'm not big on cilantro either, but I wouldn't resort to spraying with Lysol or coughing all over it. Look at it this way, the Lysol will kill any cough germs...right? BTW, I don't rinse mine either. I live dangerously.

This garden has been terminated and the unit thoroughly cleaned.
I will be planting a new one later on my next "Standing" time. (Side note: go to doctors later this week and HOPE he tells me I can do a little more)
