scarfguy , glad you enjoyed the Parrots. We did too but ours has a very slight bit of heat to them. Odd how same peppers can perform differently
The last time I grew them, they were perfectly sweet. This time, the one on the left has just a slight bit of "tang" but the one on the right is perfectly sweet. It must depend on a particular seed's ancestry rather than environment.

I just started a couple lunchbox Red sweets in the Bounty, they are fairly manageable height wise and put out tons of the cutest little peppers. I also am doing a Pot-a-Peno Jalapeño (Park Seed) in a harvest, first time for those, but they don't get very tall so we will see... The lunchbox I just save seed from harvested ones, they do germinate well. I may give the Jungle parrot a try at some point, those look nice and thick for a small pepper.

May I also suggest also doing a search to see of anyone else has ever grown the pepper you are going to try. You can see how they did and their assessments.

Lets talk about bell peppers and the ones that you like. So far I've only tried King Arthur Hybrid Pepper and Aloha Peppers.
The King Arthur peppers grew and produced well but my Aloha pepper plant is much shorter and with one small pepper and two more trying to form in a tight ball in the center of the plant.
What other bell peppers are worth growing in my Bounty?

I've had much better luck with "horn" type peppers than bell peppers for some reason.
Consider the various marconi peppers, the ajvarski, or the lesya.
They have all grown and produced well for me.

I second the Ajvarski Pepper. I have not grown them inside but they were wonderful tasting Peppers when I grew those outside over the summer.

Those shishitos look extra nummy on this cold December day. This article say they only grow about 2 feet tall and 15 to 18 inches wide. That sound about right, Moonshadows? If so, that ought to just fit a Bounty.

They are going into my next Rare Seeds order.

I econd Moonshadows 's recommendation for Shishito peppers! They grew like gangbusters in my Farm 12XL, even when sharing the space with a nutrient-grabbing green bell pepper. They didn't come close to needing the full yard of growing height. Shishitos are fun because 1 of every 8 or 10 will be much hotter than the rest. You never know what you're going to get, so it's kind of like playing Russian roulette.
