These basils are unhappy. I keep cutting off the pale and slightly browned leaves. The only thing consistently green is the pepper, which I have to move. Maybe do an R n R and go back to AG nutes. Cuz I don’t know what I’m doing.

I am telling you the basil does not like Iconic nutes. Every time Iconic is used on Basil they do not fair well. At least that is what I found and what I made note of two years ago.

That makes me feel better, thank you. I know I had been underfeeding it because I forgot the proper dose, but even when I corrected it the plants still weren’t happy.

Ok, so I did an R n R 2 days ago, and a big trim of unhealthy leaves/nodes, and replaced nutes with AG nutes. But only around 4mg to start. Hopefully that’ll do the trick. Oh, and I removed the pepper plant to another machine. More space.

These have improved but are much too crowded, and some are bolting. Gave it a hacking so we shall see.

Whoa! This makes me want to get new gardens for my herbs started. I think I'm going to wait on the release of those new long 6-pod models Shawn mentioned recently. I think two of them will sit nicely on top of the Farms.

I’m interested in those new long models too, Nick. I think the shape will prove to be advantageous.

Are there any other advantages that are escaping me?

Are there any other advantages that are escaping me? I was told they created the line of 9 as a space saver. Good for windowsills, college dorm rooms and tight spaces.

Oh dear, I just killed this today. I was cleaning up my other gardens at the kitchen sink and doing laundry when I kept hearing a groan and a pitch and a gulp and a silence. Repeat. I thought Ohmygosh is my washing machine on the fritz?! I reeeeally don’t want to deal with a service call right now. Well, it was my basil herb garden in the laundry room which I evidently skipped while watering everything else in the last week. It was bone dry. Needless to say I trashed the whole thing. Next?!!! I needed a new basil garden anyway. I just don’t want to clean the unit up.

Sometimes I can have a garden that is still producing but kill it off anyway. Planting new ones is fun sometimes you just want fresh"er" herbs, if that makes sense. But cleaning them is a pain ....
time.... with the machine, not the dishes

I meant to put some seeds in the starter a couple weeks ago which would’ve given me a headstart. Alas, I kept putting it off...
