Jalapeno Early from underneath. Tons of flowers being pollinated and you can see green peppers peeking through. I wish you could see all the peppers but again this is looking up. I do have a question, should I prune off the bottom little section of flowers? Do you think that is hindering growth above? (Carrot pics are in the GAL Section)

Any thoughts on the bottom section of buds that are forming? Leave them? Remove them?

I don't know. I always think "the more the merrier" but that in no way implies that I know what I'm talking about.

Some jalapenos are getting darker in color which makes me think they may start to turn sooner then later. Also pollinating all the new blooms.

Seeing a bright red Jalapeno on one of my plants is definitely one of my favorite Aerogardening experiences. And yours look pretty good so far.

Many of the Jalapenos are getting corking on them, which I know is a good thing. But some of my peppers are turning almost block which means they may also be getting ready to turn red I THINK. I know I had this on one of my other peppers but I can not remember which one.
I also think that those are the peppers closer to the lights.

I've had corking on my Serranos, but not yet on a Jalapeno
I had one Jalapeno plant that was producing black peppers. I got worried and killed the plant, but have since read that sometimes they'll do that, but will eventually ripen ok.

Last week I took off several older leaves and made room for light to filter through. Well today while pollinating the flowers I am noticing a lot more buds forming. Also a jalapeno fell off so I gave it to Mark to try. It was not ripe yet as it still tastes like grass but he said it was hot. So if it is hot like grass I can only imagine how nice and hot it will be when ripened!

Once they start to turn color, don’t you feel like they’ll turn red sooner than they do?! It can be maddening!

5ml Mooch has been added. Many of the peppers have nice corking on them. Now I just wish they would turn red already.
