I grew and harvested my first lettuce with my farm system about 60 days since planting, seems like it tasting different, new leaves seem tougher than normal.
is it me? or is this the sign they are at end of life for good harvesting?
how long you harvest a lettuce plant for?

I know for many here as well as myself, we will plant pods. Wait the 3-4 weeks for the first harvest. Then harvest a total of three times. After that it can taste bitter. So we always start anew.
Also lettuce loves cold water so if it gets warm or hot, add ice cubes. Lastly, you should never harvest lettuce the day of or a couple days after feeding as it can taste bitter from the uptake of the nutes.
I hope this helps.

Thanks again, have replanted 8 out of 12 slot (leaving 4 blank) going to try and figure out timing between two farms.
my toms seem to be sat green much slower than expected, all a learning curve.
