just point it back downward when the vine gets longer, then back up again. i have had the vines dangling off a tabletop and then up again. You could even be creative and lead it so it goes over to that window sill ..perfect light source!

Day 28. I have a bunch flowers blooming which is awesome. However the leaves are yellow on the edges and getting brown. I just did an r&r. I'm tempted to put more than 2ml of nutes in but wanted to check here to see what you think I ought to do?

This did happen to me and Mary. Please read Corinne's cuke threads in her garden. I THINK less is better when nutes but I can not remember. Also see Mary's as she did something that helped I believe as well.

I find that a yellowing ring(thin and faint) is always gonna be there with the hydro. I wish I knew what to do to get rid of that, BUT..you need very little nutrients, and what you have there is nutrient burn orangetab. As Shawn said, Les IS Better. I would snip off the most damaged leaves, do a total dump and refill with plain water for a few days and add about 2-3 ml at the end of the week.Other leaves will grow in. Not AG approved advice, but just from what I have found and what I would do.

Thats the worst they are right now. I did a siphon dump and refill so I will skip nutes today despite the reminder. Its crazy to think its nute burn even with only doing the 2 ml. Thanks for the advice.

well if it is burning at 2, I would lower it to 1.5 !

Well all the lil cukes that were around when the nute burn(?) happened all shriveled up. So I have like 10 I probably lost. New ones kept growing though so luckily I have 3 almost ready to eat! I went ahead and did only 1.5 ml, and waited like 5 days after the r&r to add it. I figure this stunted its growth overall, as it had been lenthening steadily and has tapered off. There's still quite a lot of cukes coming in so I'm ok with the size so long as these lil pups grow to fruition!

they like to hide, so keep a look-out. I think your plants are doing well. I agitated the flowers every morning to loosen up the pollen a bit. it gave me more of a harvest. FWIW

Well, all I've been doin is adding plain water to top up, and all my tiny cukes are turning yellow and shriveling. 😞 Thinking maybe I'll pluck the 3 cukes that are 3.5 inches bug so theyre not sucking up all the energy at least. Also gonna add 1ml of nutes and see what morning brings.

Well perhaps i screwed up with the nutes. Did a full dump and refill of plain water today. No cukes have grown, complete halt in any growth and more tiny ones continue to shrivel. The leaves are now crispy when I pinch them, even in the green middle. I know next time I'll only do one in the harvest or two in bounty. The 4 we did get to eat were much tastier than store bought though! My 2.5 yo ate one to herself lol.

My tomato plants are looking rather sad also. I believe the move was the culprit.

66 days in and I've got 5 cukes from it total. I added only one ml nutes last feeding. I get new lil cukes that flower but then they dont plump, just end up shriveling up. I'm on the ready to pull it, as I'm not sure what more to do at this point going forward.

Just terminated this after 93 days I believe. I only got a total of 8 cukes from it. Next time I will definitely only let one plant stay instead of two.
