Hi everyone. I'm new to this board, just got my first aerogarden and planted some heirloom cherry tomatoes! These are at day 9, and I noticed that the seed leaves are curling up. Is there something I can do to fix this, or is it normal? Thanks!

those 2 that are curling(cotyledons) are not the 'true' leaves and they will eventually brown and fall off. The leaves that are the ones you want are the decorative scalloped ones which seem to be fine. Cotyledons are the first leaves to emerge from the soil when a plant germinates. Because they are part of the seed's embryo, they also are known as seed leaves, and provide nutrients to the seedling until its true leaves unfurl and begin the process of photosynthesis. Hope that helps .

I am growing my first tomato plant myself so I can not help but as Corinne stated those first set are not true leaves.
Are you growing this in a Harvest Slim? They are nice looking machines. May I ask how much nutrients are you feeding it? I started with 4ml and after two weeks my feeding was 5ml. Something I have learned is to always start off lower on the Nutrients and build up as needed per plant.
Please keep us posted

Thank you Corinne & Shawn! Yes it's a harvest slim, it does look great. I used 8ml of the AG nutrients to start, maybe for the next feeding in a few days I should use less or none at all?

I would add Nutrients. But for me personally I do not add the full amount at first. This is my first tomato I am growing as well so we can learn together Me personally would only add 5ml and see how it does.
But again , please know I am by no means an expert and just a beginner with tomatoes as well. Hopefully others will also chime in as the day goes by.

Got it, we'll see how it goes. Day 10, added an air pump, they're still looking a little droopy but they're growing!

I am glad the lowered nutes helped. AS they progress I up the nutes according to their liking.
