Happy Holidays to everyone. I just setup my first Harvest Elite Slim aerogarden and everything is growing, but nothing from my Mint. Label says 6-10 days for it to germinate, what do I do know Mint is relatively easy to grow and I expected it to be first. Any suggestions, also how do I register my aerogarden

Happy Holidays!
I have never grown the mint. Maybe someone who has can help. I do know if you have pods that do not geminate, you can contact AG and they will replace that pod for you.
There is no need to register, you do need to keep proof of purchase however. Also they may still have a register link on their site but it has never asked for information that I can remember on the machines.

The rate of germination can always vary from what is marketed; I wouldn't give up hope yet. Mint took exactly 12-14 days to start germinating for me, so far being the slowest to germinate. I've seen elsewhere some people report seeds germinating after a month (might've not been mint though).
For comparison, these have been my results:
- Genovese Basil: 2 days
- Salad Greens (aka lettuce): 2-3 days
- Thai Basil: 2-3 days
- Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes: 2-4 days
- Thyme: 3 days & 13 days
- Dill: 7 days & 14 days
- Curly Parsley: 12 days
- Mint: 12-14 days
As the other poster mentioned, you can always contact Aerogarden to get a replacement pod.

My mint did not germinate after 1 month, and Aerogarden sent 2 pods. I installed the first pod and waited nearly 2 weeks and when I opened the plastic cover, the pod was topped by mold. Needless to say I am disappointed. I will install the second pod but will call them first to let them know. I am wondering if other customers experienced the same problem. Everything else is growing, the dill is like something from Little Shop of Horrors grows and grows no matter how much you cut off.

Sorry you are having problems. That can happen sometimes. When you say mold, are you talking about fuzzy mold?

That's a shame. I contacted them about an Italian parsley pod that didn't germinate. I didn't have to provide proof of purchase. I just had to answer a question about whether or not my original pods came shipped in foil or not. (Weird?) I very quickly received a replacement pod, which is happily growing now. Re: Mint. Mine has always been slow to start, healthy once it gets growing -- but never as fast growing and aggressive as mint is when I plant it outside. (Which is kind of a relief, actually. Enough mint, but not too much mint.) Re: Mold. Several times, I've encountered pods that appear to have some kind of white, fluffy mold in the hole where the seeds are planted. I almost threw them away. But in each case, it must not have really been mold because the white stuff vanished and the plants germinated and all was well. Don't know if this helps, but wanted to offer my two cents.

I've also got pods with mold, both white and brown. The plants with both eventually sprout, but it's taken nearly a month (they sprouted this weekend at something like 25 days).

I often get a little mold on the top of mine as well. From what I understand the fuzzy can is not bad. Algae growing in the bowl (from light getting in) can be bad. Others may know better/more.
As for the mint not germinating, I grew mint last year and it seemed to grow fast. I know it is frustrating, but it sometimes does happen. I have never had a full set of pods from AG that al germinated / did not need replacing....and several instances there were no seeds in the pod.
I would contact them again if the replacement pod(s) did/do not germinate. Good luck!
