I didn't do this one right at all. I just threw some pods in and away I went. Today (2/25/2020) I was trimming up the roots and moving the two pods around and thought... I wonder if I can root this mint so... here it is!

I bet it will work. Mint was born to spread. From someone who FINALLY removed a runaway patch from a garden a few years ago.

The mint did root! It filled up it's cup and has been moved into my knock off earthbox with the Thai basil!

Update: these are still going gangbusters on my deck! The mint is blooming and pulling honeybees to the deck, it's awesome!

It's thriving! Funny that mint, something that grows like nuts elsewhere, has never done great in the Aerogarden for me.

Honestly, it sat and sat and then really took off. I was growing this in school and showing students different ways to root the mint. It really did well.
