This is a very very old link, but one I would like to post in the hopes that it would encourage new growers to try their hand at the AG Tom Kit. The AG machines and accessories have changed a bit..but it is really all the same as to method. One now has the advantage of LED vs CFL for better growth.
I could NEVER grow anything called a plant. They would all die no matter what I did...UNTIL I bought an AG Classic. Perhaps I saw it in an ad, or at the Depot..I don't know, but I bought one and my first kit was tomatoes..2 red and 1 orange.
I blogged about it way back in 2008 and am posting the link. Some of the things I did I would not do today...like trellising with bright red yarn LOL.
The thread begins on Tuesday Sept 2, 2008. To view progressively, one has to scroll back down to the bottom and click on 'newer posts'
OK...FWIW. If I can , ANYONE can!

That was fun! Thanks for the link to the past.
For some reason, it reminds me of the name of a local restaurant, The Green Tomato.
