What a relief that some of yours looked like that! It is going to be yellow, I think.

The bud finally opened. A little lopsided, but it made it.
Some of the leaves are dying. I don't know how much longer the sick roots can continue to support the plants. Maybe long enough to push out another bud or two.

I am amazed! The roots appear to be recovering. I guess the peroxide treatment worked after all!
I trimmed the dead leaves off, and the little plants look much happier.

What is going on?
My pink poppy closed up again!
Is this normal?

Mine open and close every day... at least until they get too close to the lights and end up burning.

Thank you, Error! My yellow ones never closed, so I was shocked when this one did.

Another pink bud wearing a dunce cap. By the time I took the photo and sat down, it had shed the hat and was beginning to open.
These flowers fascinate me. The first yellow one didn't close up in the evening. Now they all do.
So far I have deadheaded one old flower -- the yellow one that stayed open.

picturesque! I wonder if the flower will open dark or if it will turn a pastel?

@cornne, it is the same plant as a few photos up. It is a lovely striated medium pink.
If I only have two plants blooming, I feel blessed to have one that color.

New colors are coming in on the pink plant. These are almost a burgandy. I LOVE them!
The plants are starting to droop, so I plan to add 2 ml nutrients and see if it will perk them up.
Correction: The burgandy plants are from the plant behind the pink one. They are leaning forward so it looks like they are growing from the pink plant.
What a wonderful surprise!
