I forgot that I ordered these, but a while ago I placed a custom order for some 3D printed AeroGarden covers. They haven't arrived yet, but they were printed: I'll post updates about how well they work, although I'm sure you'll see them on the threads in my Garden anyway

Please do tell how they do. If they work well, can we order them ourselves?

If they work well, can we order them ourselves? You should be able to! I can share the schematics and where I ordered them from. (it's not something I designed, but rather something I found online)

I will wait to see how you like them and how they fit along with the pricing.

I have 100 of the new stick-ons. I also bought 50 of the old style labels from Amazon, so I can slit and reuse them like Shawn does.
So I am well stocked for a while.

I have some of the stickers (they were in a kit I have). I am not fond of them. They rip too easy. I like the older version.

Shawn , I like the older ones better, too. I thought of gluing 2 of the new ones together back to back to make stronger reusable covers.

I will wait to see how you like them and how they fit along with the pricing. For these 20 covers, it cost $18 (including shipping). It was pricey, but they should be a lot easier to clean and I should be able to reuse them forever.

Do you have a link handy for the source for these? I'm hoping to get the files to print myself. 🙂

Do you have a link handy for the source for these? I'm hoping to get the files to print myself. 🙂 Here you go! This download has two files, the pod and the lid. I only wanted the lids since the pods weren't cost effective for me to order, but if you end up trying them, let me know what you think!

nick , you are so lucky to have the ability to do this. If I did I would get these made. How are you and your gardens?

They finally arrived today, and I'm really happy with them! They don't snap together like I thought they would - instead they just fall into place and the "locks" prevent the halves from being pushed off the pod by the plant.

Looks good. And if the trunks get too thick you can remove one half and then the other.

I am envious of those that can do this. Although do not need another machine (other then AG) in my house LOL

I've been using these for a while now and I've been very happy with them. I can even unlock the two halves but leave them on the pod - continuing to block out light but allowing the plant to push the cover off as it grows.

Do you have the direct link for them? I looked but could not find. There's no direct purchase link as far as I know, but you'll want this 3D model file, which you can upload to Treatstock or another 3D printing service. I chose white PLA for the material and the default infill of 20%.
