Soaked seeds for 12 hours, placed them into a Sprout with just water (no nutes). The seed in the middle didn't soak up as much, so I'm not sure if it's viable, but I planted it anyway. It might have been from the other Tom Thumb?

Having learned from the mistakes of their parents, the second generation has elected to escape captivity.

I saw Shawn had set hers free. I did the same today. If they continue trying to leave the pod, I might move these ones outside and try again...

Added a squirt of hydrogen peroxide, since I noticed some algae build-up in the front.

Hmm, I might have to do that too with my snap peas. They seem stuck.

Have you tried covering the water portion so no light gets in I'm very tempted to, but I haven't tried it yet. It would be a bit more work since I can't see the water level at a glance, but I bet it would be worth it.

I just realized that I forgot to add the covers, so I did that now.

Where do you get those fancy covers? I ordered them from a 3D printing company! You can see more info (and the models) in this thread

I haven't really seen the amount of growth that I would like, although there is plenty of root mass in the reservoir. Maybe I didn't add enough nutes? I remember keeping it pretty low last time I grew them, I think... Added 1.5ml of CALiMAGic and 3ml of nutes.

Will you be trimming roots? I know if they get too massive I usually do.
