I just bought two Harvest Elite Slim AGs. With six pod spots each but only 12" lighting, I think they will be great for bok choy. They were on a flash sale for $109 each, regular $179. They are back up to $143 again already.
That tells me - wait for a really good sale before buying an AG!

In past years, there have been some fantastic sales through various retailers online right before Christmas. I remember picking up the first Ultra LED models from Sam's Club and Costco online for less than half cost. I've also got them from Bed, Bath and Beyond and Amazon. Camelcamelcamel was also really helpful for Amazon purchases.
