This sprouted! I removed three of the five seedlings and left two - I will see if I can get both to grow, since I know that is commonly done with beets.

Another seedling appeared! I will remove one of these depending on how the first true leaves start to look.

Are you planning to transplant it?

Are you planning to transplant it? My hope is to grow them entirely in the Sprout, since we'll still have snow for a few more months here. I've grown radishes and turnips in the Sprout and Harvest before, so this shouldn't be too different

VERY interesting. Will be following. Hopefully Early Wonder means you will get a nice root veg sooner.

These might be starting to form a bulb? I can't tell.

It looks like they may be twins.

I probably should have thinned this down to one, these aren't spreading out like I thought they would.

Oh well. If you don't get beet roots, you can still cook the greens.

Ended this today. You can see the first signs of it in the previous picture (and I missed it!) but the bulbs ended up getting covered in a white mold. The majority of the leaves had dried up or started to wither as well, despite the water in the tank.
It's likely due to the cold temperatures (around 40F) in the room that I had it in, which stalled the growth and allowed the mold to take over.

Too bad you had to end. What will you grow next?

Too bad you had to end. What will you grow next? I'm not sure - I have several AeroGardens that are empty now, so hopefully I'll get new stuff planted in them very soon.
