I’m super excited! I’ve gotten pretty sick of Walmart salad, I’m ready to have home grown again

Added nutrients. Soon I'll have the raise the light to accommodate the pequin in the back, but I want the greens to get a little more growth before I do

So exciting about the pepper budding!
I am surprised that both the pepper and lettuce are doing well together.

Got so excited that I forgot to snap a photo, but the lettuce was big enough that it was trying to eat the pequin, so I gave it all a trim and had myself a nice big salad for dinner. I look forward to the day that I can add tomatoes and cucumber to it from my gardens!! For now it was just the lettuce with dressing and a sprinkle of shredded cheese, because shopping is the worst and I refuse to go until I absolutely have to. I really liked the varieties that I planted, they all had such a wonderful, fresh taste that's impossible to get with anything store-bought! I look forward to more harvests!!

Isn't it wonderful when you can enjoy what you grow.

I cut these guys back HARD and they're already starting to regrow. I'm pretty tickled about how well the lettuce is doing with the pequin! I was worried they wouldn't be compatible

The lettuce is re-growing very nicely, but I'm gearing up for a project that may make this unnecessary. I'm hoping to have all the supplies by next week so I can start experimenting and posting about it! If it goes as well as I hope I'll be able to pull the lettuce and let the pequin have the machine to himself.

Added nutrients. The pequin had a growth-spurt when I trimmed the lettuce down, and it's going to be time for another trim on my days off Still waiting on supplies for the new greens project I want to start (delayed due to storms, winter weather is the worst!!!)

That is such a pretty garden. I think it's due to the different shades of green. Looks ornamental!
