Hello, I am very appreciative of this forum. I emailed Aerogarden customer support this morning. I plugged in my Sprout for the first time two and a half weeks ago. I woke up this morning and my light and pump were both off. There isn't anything faulty with the outlet nor was there a power problem in the home. The Sprout won't restart now! This is my first time gardening and I was so excited that my basil and dill already sprouted. Anyone have any advice or has this happened to you? I can't believe the machine died after 2.5 weeks. Thank you Erica

First let me welcome you to the forum. We are happy to have you with us.
I am sorry to hear that your Sprout stopped working. However Aerogarden is very good and I am sure it will be replaced. You mentioned you emailed them. May I also suggest you send them a message via Facebook.
I do not own a Sprout so am unsure what to tell you other then make sure the power cord is plugged in all the way.
Maybe someone on the forum that has a Sprout can assist. Keep us posted on what happens please.

One thing to check - sometimes when I plug in one of my Sprouts, it can take up to 10 seconds before the light and pump turn on. I assume you plugged it in for longer than that, but it's worth double checking just in case When the Sprout is unplugged and plugged back in, it resets - in that regard, the light should ALWAYS turn on. I haven't had any issues with a Sprout dying after a while, but I did have one before that was dead on arrival from the AeroGarden store. They were happy to replace it when I contacted them - so hopefully they'll have a solution for you as well!
