Hiya, my habenada seeds finally sprouted in my Extra, and I'm seeing the leaves getting a bit dappled with yellow. Reading the forums, mooch seems to be recommended in addition to the regular AG nutrients - does anyone know if it's available in small sizes anywhere? I live in a studio and don't have a ton of storage.

Hello and welcome. How long has your plant been growing? Mooch comes in a container like the size of the large at nutes bottle (not the small ones).
I am not on my computer and it is hard to type from my phone. Someone should chime in soon.
If you can please post a picture. You can find out how here

cloudshaper, I agree with Shawn. We really need to see a photo to help figure out what is wrong.

cloudshaper, first of all, what kind of nutrients are you using? How much?
It definitely looks like it needs a calcium magnesium supplement to me. A lot of peple here prefer Mr Mucha Stash due to the lower nitrogen content.
Others have excellent results with other CalMag supplements. I use this one and like it. It's from Amazon and costs a little less than the others.

Thanks! I've never run into this before with the tomatoes I've grown, and this is my first run with peppers. I plan to pot it out in about a month when it's time to start my seedlings. I'm using the standard Aerogarden nutrients/schedule of 12 ml/2 weeks, having never much needed to muck with it. I'm open to supplementing, but live in a studio apartment and have limited storage space for big jugs. Was unable to find Mucha in anything other than 64 oz jug, so thanks for the Humboldt's recommendation! I should have a quart in hand tomorrow!

It sounds like you are fine with the nutrients. Looking forward to seeing how the calmag supplement works for you.
It's the same thing as adding lime or gypsum (calcium) and epsom salts (magnesium) to outdoor plants.

Hi, sorry I didn't see this earlier. Have the spots enlarged in size. Do you see any brown in the yellow spots? Are any of the leaves falling off?

mike, just saw your response! The calmag seemed to right the issue. I've since transplanted the pepper out, and it's currently going through some transplant shock, so we'll see if it makes it. I waited WAY too long and had to get pretty rough to get the roots through the grow deck aperture.
