I found this page that gives all kinds of suggestions of spices, herbs, condiments, dairy and other things to add interest to your Swiss Chard dishes.

My favorite way to eat chard is to cook up some bacon. Wilt the chard in the bacon grease, chop up the bacon and sprinkle on top. Sometimes I'll add goat cheese or a splash of vinegar.

It is so bland that you have to add flavor to make it good. Bacon, onions, garlic, chicken broth, a few red pepper flakes and a tiny bit of red wine vinegar, and it is unbeatable. (to me)

I find to be less bitter and have a better mouth feel than spinach. It's one of the few greens I can tolerate.

I don't like spinach either. Give me varieties of romaine and I am happy.
