I have ended the last two thread so make one combined thread. This will include both sides of the Farm Basic.
I have rearranged, ended and added new pods. I will keep the below charts updated if and when needed. I will be draining both sides, rinsing out bowls and adding fresh water and nutes at some point today.
(Updated 3/19/2021) LEFT: RIGHT:
I did take all the large leaves off the one basil. They were huge and the little ones needed to breath and grow.

Hi Shawn! I am curious as to how many chive seeds you planted. I have a stand of them at one end of one of my raised bed and the come up every year but would like to have them fresh through the winter. I had not thought about chive until seeing yours.. How behaved are the roots on the chives?

I honestly do not count. I place then in the pod and then I take my pointed tweezers and push some intil the top of the sponge as well. Sometime I wonder if I should add more.

The cilantro is going to seed so that will be pulled this week. Keeping fingers crossed the new pod germinates.

These are all doing well. The only changed (noted in the first pot. I edited the planting grid) Here they are today. I just harvested some two days ago and they are already growing for some to be picked again.,

It is so attractive.. It almost looks like a backyard kitchen herb garden in the Farm!

With the way the chive are positioned and the image is framed.. keep waiting to see the fish swimming around!

That's a really well designed layout. I always plant too many pods.

Made some swapouts and adjustments.
I harvested all the Genovese and one of the Windowbox basils. However I planted two new ones. I also harvested the older of the two oreganos. I may end one of the chives and start fresh. There is moss growing at the bottom. Not mold or algae but moss. LOL Go figure.
I needed to do this in order to be able to handle them one handed and on a step stool. Something I can not have the reaper do.
I have to say I am loving the variety of chives I am getting from Renee's. My cilantro is doing well too!

My chives are not growing. Maybe I should look at Renee's for herbs, too.
I had never heard of windowbox mini basil before.
May your gardens stay safe from the reaper!

I have an order coming from Renee's...but no chives. I've made a new spreadsheet to remind me of things to order. Added Chives from Renee's! Thank you for recommendation!

Yesterday I trimmed up all the herbs. They will need another trimming but I will have Mark do it when it is time. The chives will need to be cut way before I am sure.
I do not like anyone else touching my gardens but I will let him do it for me since I wont be able to. I will do all I can one handed like feeding but what ever I need two hands for he will be my hands. LOL

I am picky about anyone else touching my gardens, too, Shawn.
I hope they do well, and I trust that Mark will baby them for you.

Excuse the mess. Also the chives look a mess. Someone has not been trimming them as they were told or actually rimming without me knowing. Oregano is up, just not over the cover yet There is the devotion basil behind the thyme.

Those are beautiful, Shawn. It is so nice to see plants with room to spread out and breathe!
