Blossom Drop happens for many reason, below you will find a list of some:
Temperature -Tomato plants are sensitive to temperature changes. This is one of the most common causes for lack of flowering and/or bud drop and one of the most likely to suspect first. Overly cool conditions, or hot cause stress on the plant and cause the dropping of buds.
Poor Pollination - The lack of flower production or bud drop can also be contributed to poor pollination.
Poor Circulation - which contributes to pollination, may also be to blame. Pepper blossoms are more sensitive to the temperatures during pollination.
Humidity - Too high or too low of humidity can cause blossom drop.
Abunance of Fruit - when a plant has a lot of fruit on it, the flower drop can and usually happens as the energy is going to the fruiting tomatoes.
