Strawberry Variety: Unknown, Aerogarden crown kit. These are the rejects from the grow bowl. They send 10 and you are supposed to put max four in the bowl. At around 8 days, only that one in the front left is really doing anything above ground, although it looks like the one the back right has put out some new roots. I'm thinking the middle two may be duds, but we'll see. I plan on filling all six pots with strawberries from runners off the first set as they become available. Lettuce Variety: Burpee Bibb The lettuce is about 30 days in- most of that without an air stone, which is probably why most of them are looking kind of sad. The four off to the right are just small kratky style jars with the lettuce displaced by the strawberries, while the two most successful plants stayed in the tub. In addition to not having any airation, apparently I had my apartment too warm for lettuce (74F) and that may be part of the reason some of the plants started to bolt. I've turned the temp down and they seem to have settled in to making leaves.

I’m very interested in your strawberries. I’ve never grown them before.

I need space for Ultras, so this setup is being decommissioned for now. The surviving strawberry plant is in the bowl with the rest of them, and I'm going to have a yummy salad for lunch tomorrow.
