I don’t know why this unit keeps leaking. It has ruined the finish of the table (not a huge deal, just unsightly) and keeps dribbling down the back onto the floor. When the basin is in, I don’t ever see this while it’s happening.

What unit is that? Is it a new one?
Regardless not good. Is there a slight crack or is the deck not fitting correctly?

1. try checking to see if the top is securely on in the back where the cord going from the pump into the back of the unit sets down into the V groove.Make sure the cord is well down into the V 2. Turn your pump down a notch inside.
try these and see if they work for you as they did for me.

Good idea, I never thought of turning the pump down.

I haven’t been near it to implement anything yet.

Well, interestingly, when I went to finally investigate tonight before implementing your suggestions, I only had a few drops of water under the bowl since last time, no big pool. It might partially have to do with the fact that, on a tip from the AG company unrelated to this, I recently changed the pump to only 5 minutes an hour. Who knows if that would make a difference. Depends on what the source of the problem is.
Irrespective of that, I did find that, indeed, I did have the power cord leading from the bowl not properly seated in the V. At all. It was completely being squished on the outside ledge, compromising the position of the deck.
I did not yet yet try to turn down the pump, partly in order to isolate what the problem is, and partly because I ran out of energy.
Thank you, Corinne, for suggesting that fix. I had kept checking that the deck was positioned properly over the fountain, which it was, but I did not consider the cord making it slightly wompy.
