Front Left: Aerogarden Mint Front Right: Burpee Common Sage The other four are Patriot mint seeds that will be moved to the other harvests when those come in.

I got the idea from here, and it's a good one. I'm not a fan of trying to get the little tops they give you onto the pod.

None of the herbs have peeked out over the sponges yet. I can see a little bit of green if I look down into them though, so plants are coming.
I have grown this sage in a pot before but not in hydro. I tried cloning some off the potted plant awhile back, but it didn't root. My windows don't get much light, so it wasn't a particularly healthy plant to begin with though.

How big does this variety of sage get?

The seed packet says 24". It also says to put 3 in a 12" container, so I think there will be some spread, but not a ton.
I've got it in a Harvest, so I'm hoping it'll be happy enough staying shorter. If not, it'll go in the Farm to compete with the cucs.

I've only done Aerogarden sage, and I can't say it was successful or tasty. Looking forward to seeing how yours does.

I did get a few leaves out of my first plant. It seemed fine baked in with some chicken- I think it's the same variety that the grocery stores usually carry.

I finally have a bit of green poking up above the sponges. I think I'm getting more and more impatient.

The AG mint and the Sage are the two front pods. The one you can see in the middle is Lemon Balm- it'll get it's own thread with the Lemon Mint next to it when I move it out to its own Harvest.

Sage (right) has a couple real leaves. Mint has finally made some visible progress.

Sage went to Bounty 1 with the rest of the culinary herbs, so the catnip came over to keep the AG mint company. Not much exciting here.

I can only assume the catnip is for your cat. I have some seeds that are for cats and dogs. If you want any PM me. You can see what they are in my Seed Trading thread. i have not grown any for Proxy yet.

No kitties here. The catnip came in a Patriot seed mix of herbal tea seeds- catnip tea isn't terribly popular, but it is something that can be beneficial.

Whelp, all the mint plants are pretty aggressive once they get going, but so far the catnip is the winner of the "how fast can I grow" contest.
